  • Overview

    The Vehicle Inspector will do monthly inspections as required and according to the schedule and Agency policy and procedure. The Vehicle Inspector will be supervised by the Transportation Project Director.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate all equipment according to assigned schedule.
    • Develop, implement and maintain vehicle inspections according to company policy and following the guidelines provided.
    • Retain required records of inspection.
    • Must be able to complete minor repairs, such as windshield wipers replacement, bulb replacement, etc.
    • Must report weekly any known vehicles inf-rations found during inspections.
    • Comply with local traffic regulations.
    • Must be able to travel out of town as required.
    • Operate cell phones or similar device to communicate with transportation.
    • Keep records of trips and expenses.
    • Must be able to attend workshops and become certified to train our Agency driving staff.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
    • Criminal background check.
    • Motor Vehicle Record check.
    • Must posses a valid drivers license.
    • Must be certified in CPR and First Aid.
    • Preferred 3 years automotive mechanical experience.
    • Must be able to travel out of town.
