Overview

The Dispatcher/Data Manager will be responsible for client intake, scheduling, dispatching, data entry, and reporting for the transportation program.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to all calls to inquire about or schedule services, assures that all calls are answered within a responsible time frame.
  • Identify the agency and themselves upon answering the telephone.
  • Responsible for scheduling transportation services. Provides drivers with schedules.
  • Notify recipients of arrival and pick up times.
  • Replace or back up disabled vehicles.
  • Responsible for scheduling maintenance of vehicles.
  • Report problems, delays, complaints to the Project Director in a  timely manner.
  • Collect and enter data needed for client information, program monitoring, compliance and maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Compile required reports and submit electronically as directed.
  • Attends educational workshops, seminars and classes as required.
  • Participates in community organizations, activities and events as directed and actively promote agency services through personal contact, public speaking, literature distribution and the media.
  • Serves on agency committees and attends meetings as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual
  • Dispatching or Call Center experience preferred.
  • Strong human relation skills and ability to keep and maintain confidential information is required.
